Ingredients

• 3 c flour scant
• 2 c sugar
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp baking powder heaping
• 12 c shortening margarine
• 1 egg
• 12 tsp baking soda
• 1 14 c buttermilk or sour milk
• 1 tsp vanilla
