Buttermilk Pound Cake

Ingredients

• 1 c Crisco
• 3 c sugar
• 3 c flour
• 6 eggs
• 1 c buttermilk
• 12 tsp salt
• 14 tsp soda
• 1 tsp lemon extract

Directions

1. Mix Crisco and sugar add eggs one at a time beating constantly
2. Mix salt and soda with flour
3. Add alternately with buttermilk and lemon extract
4. Bake in tube pan in 300 oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes
