Buttermilk Pound Cake

Ingredients

• 1 c buttermilk room temperature
• 1 c Crisco
• 2 c sugar
• 3 c plain flour sifted
• 3 large eggs room temperature
• 12 tsp soda
• 1 tsp lemon flavoring

Directions

1. Cream sugar and Crisco Add milk and flour alternately Add soda mix well Add eggs one at a time Add flavoring Grease and flour tube pan Bake 1 hour in 350 oven in a cold oven
