Buttermilk Rolls

Ingredients
- 9 c flour
- 1 tsp soda
- 2 tsp salt
- 12 c sugar
- 3 c scalded buttermilk
- 1 c shortening
- 3 pkg yeast
Directions
- Sift flour soda salt and sugar together
- Add buttermilk and shortening scalded
- Dissolve yeast in 12 cup warm water
- Stir into flour mixture
- Let stand for 10 minutes
- Knead on floured surface shape into desired rolls
- Place on lightly greased baking sheet
- Let rise until doubled in bulk
- Bake at 400 until lightly browned
