Butterscotch Brownies

Ingredients

  • 12 c butter
  • 2 c brown sugar packed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 12 c sifted flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 c chopped nuts

Directions

  1. Melt butter over low heat
  2. Remove

  4. stir
  5. in brown sugar Stir well
  6. Cool and stir in
  7. eggs
  8. Sift dry ingredients together and stir in then add
  9. vanilla and nuts
  10. Spread in well-greased 9 x 13-inch pan
  11. Bake at
  12. 350
  13. for
  14. 20 to 25 minutes or when lightly touched with
  15. finger in center slight imprint remains
  16. Cut while warm
