Butterscotch Brownies

Ingredients
- 12 c butter
- 2 c brown sugar packed
- 2 eggs
- 1 12 c sifted flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 c chopped nuts
Directions
- Melt butter over low heat
- Remove

- in brown sugar Stir well
- Cool and stir in
- eggs
- Sift dry ingredients together and stir in then add
- vanilla and nuts
- Spread in well-greased 9 x 13-inch pan
- Bake at

- for
- 20 to 25 minutes or when lightly touched with
- finger in center slight imprint remains
- Cut while warm
