Butterscotch Cheese Crunchies
Ingredients
- 1 2 c pkg butterscotch morsels
- 6 Tbsp butter
- 2 c graham cracker crumbs
- 2 c chopped walnuts
- 2 8 oz pkg cream cheese
- 12 c sugar
- 4 eggs
- 14 c flour
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
Directions
- Soften cream cheese
- Preheat oven to 350
- Combine over hot not boiling water the butterscotch morsels and butter
- Stir until morsels are melted and mixture is smooth
- Transfer to large bowl
- Stir in graham cracker crumbs and walnuts with a fork until mixture resembles fine crumbs
- Reserve 2 cups for topping
- Press remaining mixture into 15 12 x 10 12 x 1-inch ungreased baking pan
- Bake at 350 for 12 minutes
