Butterscotch Oaties

Ingredients

• 1 6 oz pkg butterscotch morsels
• 34 c butter
• 2 Tbsp boiling water
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 2 c rolled oats
• 1 c sifted flour
• 34 c sugar
• dash of salt

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350
2. Combine butterscotch morsels and butter melt over boiling water
3. Remove from heat
4. Mix boiling water with baking soda and add to butterscotch mixture
5. Gradually blend in the remaining ingredients
6. Drop by slightly rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet
7. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes
8. Makes 5 dozen cookies
