Butterscotch Oaties
Ingredients
- 1 6 oz pkg butterscotch morsels
- 34 c butter
- 2 Tbsp boiling water
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 c rolled oats
- 1 c sifted flour
- 34 c sugar
- dash of salt
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350
- Combine butterscotch morsels and butter melt over boiling water
- Remove from heat
- Mix boiling water with baking soda and add to butterscotch mixture
- Gradually blend in the remaining ingredients
- Drop by slightly rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet
- Bake at 350 for 10 minutes
- Makes 5 dozen cookies
