Butterscotch Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 c firmly packed light brown sugar
- 13 c butter
- 13 c cream
- few grains of salt
Directions
- Stir over heat until sugar is dissolved and butter is melted Increase heat to medium and bring mixture to boiling stirring occasionally
- Boil 5 minutes without stirring
- Remove from heat and beat sauce 1 minute
- Serve warm
- Makes 1 14 cups sauce Use heavy saucepan
