Cabbage Goulash

Ingredients

  • 1 lb bulk pork sausage
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 1 28 oz can tomatoes chopped with liquid reserved
  • 1 6 oz can tomato paste
  • 2 Tbsp vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 10 c shredded cabbage

Directions

  1. In a large kettle brown sausage beef and onion
  2. Drain off any fat
  3. Add remaining ingredients except cabbage mix well Stir in cabbage and simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until cabbage is tender
  4. Serves 8
