Calico Rice Bake
Ingredients
- 1 16 oz can mixed vegetables drained
- 1 13 c water
- 34 tsp salt
- 14 tsp dried rosemary crushed
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1 13 c quick cooking rice
- 1 c shredded Cheddar cheese
- 12 tsp onion salt
- 18 tsp pepper
Directions
- Tear off a 36 x 18-inch piece of heavy-duty foil
- Fold in half to make an 18-inch square
- Fold up sides using your fist to form a pouch
- In a bowl thoroughly combine vegetables rice water cheese salt onion salt rosemary and pepper
- Place mixture in pouch
- Dot with butter
- Fold edges of foil to seal pouch securely
- Grill over medium-hot coals about 30 minutes or until done
- Makes 6 servings
