California Breakfast
Ingredients
- 5 eggs
- 12 tsp baking powder
- 1 c creamed small curd cottage cheese
- 14 c flour
- 14 tsp salt
- 14 c butter melted
- 12 lb Monterey Jack cheese shredded 2 c
- 1 4 oz can mild green chilies drained
Directions
- Beat eggs until lemon colored
- Add flour baking powder salt cottage cheese shredded Jack cheese and melted butter
- Blend smoothly and stir in chilies
- Pour mix into well-greased 9-inch square dish
- Bake in 350 preheated oven 35 minutes or until top is lightly brown and center appears firm
- Cut in squares and serve hot
- Serve with coarsely chopped and sauteed red pepper and green onions
- Accompany with bran muffins
