California Flank Steak

Ingredients

  • 1 to 2 lb beef flank steak tenderized
  • about 1 c brown sugar
  • 1 to 2 c low-sodium soy sauce

Directions

  1. Rub liberal amounts brown sugar into both sides of the flank steak
  2. Dont be stingy
  3. Lay the steak into an oblong container and cover with soy sauce
  4. Remember to lift the steak so the sauce gets underneath
  5. Cover and marinate for 1 hour
  6. Turn the steak over re-cover and marinate for 1 hour more
