Cameo Cake
Ingredients
- 1 12 c butter
- 34 c water
- 1 4 oz bar white chocolate broken into pieces
- 1 12 c buttermilk
- 4 large eggs beaten
- 1 12 tsp vanilla
- 3 12 c all-purpose flour divided
- 1 c chopped pecans toasted
- 2 12 c sugar
- 1 12 tsp baking soda
- white chocolate cream cheese frosting recipe follows
- chopped pecans for garnish
Directions
- Combine butter and water in a medium saucepan
- Bring to a boil over medium heat stirring occasionally
- Remove from heat Add white chocolate stirring until chocolate melts
- Stir in buttermilk eggs and vanilla
- Set aside
- Combine 12 cup flour and pecans stirring to coat
- Set aside
- Combine remaining flour sugar and soda in large mixing bowl
- Gradually stir in white chocolate mixture
- Fold in pecan mixture
- Batter will be thin
