Candied Garden Carrots

Ingredients

  • 8 or 10 peeled whole carrots
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 6 Tbsp brown sugar

Directions

  1. Cook carrots in 12-inch water with 12 teaspoon salt added until just tender
  2. Drain
  3. In a small skillet melt butter
  4. Add brown sugar and stir until dissolved
  5. Add carrots and cook over low heat turning until well glazed
  6. Makes 8 servings
