Candied Sweet Potatoes
Ingredients
- 4 to 5 sweet potatoes
- 2 Tbsp water
- 14 c butter
- 12 c brown sugar
- 12 tsp salt
Directions
- Cook potatoes until nearly done cool
- Peel and slice in half the long way
- Place in baking dish
- Cook syrup from water butter brown sugar and salt pour over potatoes
- Bake at 325 for 30 minutes
