Candied Walnuts

Ingredients

• 1 c brown sugar
• 12 c sugar
• 12 c sour cream
• dash of salt
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 2 12 c walnut halves

Directions

1. Combine brown sugar sugar and sour cream in a small saucepan
2. Cook over medium heat until it boils
3. Cook
4. to the soft-ball stage 240 on candy thermometer
5. Stir in salt and vanilla
6. Pour hot candy over walnuts in a mixing bowl
7. Mix until walnuts are evenly coated
8. Spoon out onto waxed paper
9. Separate nuts
10. Allow to cool and set
