Candy Strawberries

Ingredients

• 2 3 oz pkg strawberry flavor gelatin
• 1 c ground pecans
• 1 c ground coconut
• 34 c sweetened condensed milk
• 12 tsp vanilla
• red sugar crystals
• green food coloring
• slivered almonds

Directions

1. Mix together gelatin pecans coconut condensed not evaporated milk and vanilla
2. Shape mixture into strawberries Chill at least one hour
3. Roll chilled berries in sugar crystals Add food coloring to almonds to tint a delicate green
4. Use for leaves and stems of berries
5. Store in cool place
6. Makes about 48 strawberries depending on size or 1 pound 3 ounces
