Capered Cherries

Ingredients
- 1 bowl red sour cherries
- white vinegar
- sugar
Directions
- Place cherries in a bowl and cover with white vinegar let stand 24 hours
- Pour vinegar off
- Add sugar to cherries cup for cup
- Stir every few hours for 5 or 6 days until sugar is dissolved
- Put in small jars and seal
- Serve as a condiment like pickles
- Very good with poultry and meats
