Captain BearS Tanuki Chicken
Ingredients
- 1 whole young fryer less than 4 lb
- sesame oil
- garlic salt
- 9 inch disposable pie pan Pamed
- water
Directions
- Preheat grill if no grill preheat oven to 375 Rinse chicken pat dry
- Drizzle with sesame oil and message in gently sprinkle with garlic salt including cavity
- Massage into skin Place chicken in pie pan add about 1 inch water to pan - very importantThis keeps the chicken moist inside by steaming as it cooks
- Place pan on grill
- Grill for about 1 hour on low heat or bake in oven for about 1 12 hours or until skin is crispy and juices run clear
