Caramel-Apple Dessert
Ingredients
- 6 c sliced apples unpeeled
- 12 c Kretschmer honey crunch wheat germ
- 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
- 12 c caramel ice cream topping
- 12 c raisins
- 1 4 oz can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
- 2 Tbsp margarine or butter melted
- 12 tsp cinnamon
Directions
- Microwave Directions Toss apples with 14 cup wheat germ and flour
- Layer apple mixture ice cream topping and raisins in 8-inch square glass baking dish
- Microwave at High 6 to 7 minutes stirring after 3 minutes
- Separate crescent rolls into 2 rectangles
- Stretch dough over apples to edge of dish
- Drizzle with margarine sprinkle with combined remaining 14 cup wheat germ and cinnamon
- Microwave at High 6 to 7 minutes or until apples are tender
- Let stand on countertop for 3 minutes
- Serve with vanilla ice cream if desired
