Caramel Apple Coffee Cake
Ingredients
- 2 cans refrigerated rolls
- 1 stick melted butter
- 12 c firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp corn syrup
- 12 c chopped nuts
- 1 apple
- 2 Tbsp sugar mixed with 2 Tbsp cinnamon
Directions
- Melt butter
- Add brown sugar and corn syrup and blend
- Pour mixture into bottom of 8 x 8-inch or 10-inch round pan
- Sprinkle with chopped nuts
- Peel and slice apple
- Spread apple slices on top of nuts
- Dip each refrigerated roll in sugar-cinnamon mixture one side only
- Place sugar side down in the pan
- After placing all rolls in pan sprinkle remaining mixture over all
- Bake in 375 oven and turn out onto a large plate or tray
- Let sit for 30 seconds then lift off and serve warm
