Caramel Apple Dumplings
Ingredients
- 1 pkg pie crust mix
- 3 medium baking apples washed pared and cored
- 1 beaten egg
- 12 c caramel sauce from jar
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 13 c dark brown sugar
- 34 c water
- 14 c canned toasted slivered almonds
Directions
- Prepare pie crust as directed on box
- Roll 18-inch thick With pastry wheel cut out 3 7-inch squares 6 strips 6-inches long and 34-inch wide and 3 1-inch circles rolling dough if needed
