Caramel Brie With Fresh Fruit
Ingredients
- 1 15 oz Brie
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 34 c firmly packed brown sugar
- 14 c light corn syrup
- 1 12 Tbsp plain flour
- 14 c milk
- 12 c chopped pecans
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 14 c water
- apple wedges
- pear wedges
Directions
- Place Brie on large serving plate
- Melt butter and brown sugar in saucepan add corn syrup and flour stirring well Bring to boil reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes stirring constantly
- Remove from heat cool to lukewarm
- Gradually stir in milk
- Pour caramel over Brie
- Sprinkle with pecans
- Combine lemon juice and water
- Toss with fruit wedges
- Drain
- Arrange around fruit
