Caramel Candy

Ingredients
- 1 c white sugar
- 1 c white or dark Karo syrup
- 14 tsp salt
- 1 c whipping cream
Directions
- Stir first three ingredients plus 12 cup whipping cream constantly in large pan until it boils
- Add the other 12 cup whipping cream and keep stirring on medium heat
- Boil until a few drops in cup of cold water form firm ball
- Remove from burner Add vanilla and pour into buttered Pyrex pie plate
- When almost cool cut into pieces
