Caramel Chews
Ingredients
- 36 vanilla caramels
- 3 Tbsp light cream half and half
- 1 c corn flakes
- 1 c Rice Krispies
- 1 c flaked coconut
- 1 c chopped nuts
Directions
- Place caramels and cream in double boiler
- Heat until caramels melt stirring occasionally
- Toss together cereals coconut and nuts
- Pour melted caramels over this mixing thoroughly with buttered spoon
- Drop from spoon onto waxed paper or put in buttered pan
- Makes 2 dozen
