Caramel Corn

Ingredients
- 1 c butter or margarine
- 2 c brown sugar
- 12 c corn syrup
- 1 tsp salt
- 12 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla optional
- 6 qt popped corn
- 1 to 1 12 c nuts optional
Directions
- Boil butter brown sugar corn syrup and salt for 5 minutes Remove from heat and add baking soda and vanilla this should foam
- Pour over the popped corn
- Bake in a large butteredgreased shallow baking pans at 250 for 1 hour
- Stir every 15 minutes and stir occasionally as it cools
