Caramel Delights

Ingredients

  • 1 c flour
  • 1 14 c rolled oats
  • 34 c brown sugar
  • 12 tsp baking soda
  • 14 tsp salt
  • 34 c melted margarine
  • 8 oz chocolate chips
  • 12 c chopped walnuts optional
  • 34 c caramel or butterscotch sauce
  • 3 Tbsp flour

Directions

  1. Combine oats sugar soda salt and margarine
  2. Reserve 34 cup and pat remainder in an ungreased 9 x 9-inch baking pan
  3. Bake 10 minutes at 350
  4. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts
  5. Combine caramel sauce with 3 tablespoons flour and drizzle over top Sprinkle with 34 cup oat mixture
  6. Bake another 15 to 20 minutes Cut into squares when cool
