Caramel Pecans

Ingredients

• 1 lb brown sugar
• 1 c boiling water
• 1 Tbsp butter
• 3 c pecan halves
• pinch of salt

Directions

1. Mix sugar water butter and salt
2. Come to a boil without stirring
3. When mixture has reached the rolling ball stage drop in pecans and continue to cook until when a few drops are dropped into a cup of cold water and a hard balls is formed
4. Remove from stove and beat until slightly cool
5. Drop on wax paper
