Caramel Pie
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 4 Tbsp flour
- 1 c brown sugar packed
- 1 egg
- 1 c milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 baked pie shell
- Cool Whip or whipped cream
Directions
- Combine butter flour and sugar together
- Beat egg add milk Add to creamed mixture
- Cook in top of double boiler until thickened stirring constantly
- Cool add vanilla
- Pour into baked pastry shell and chill
- Makes one 9-inch pie spread with whipped topping
