Caramel Topping

Ingredients

  • 14 c butter or margarine
  • 2 Tbsp cream
  • 1 c packed brown sugar
  • 12 c chopped nuts
  • 12 c coconut optional

Directions

  1. Combine butter and cream in small mixing bowl
  2. Microwave at Medium 1 14 to 3 minutes or until butter is melted
  3. Stir in brown sugar nuts andor coconut Spread carefully on warm cake Microwave on High 2 to 3 minutes or until topping bubbles in a few spots
  4. Use as frosting on Oatmeal Cake
