Caramels

Ingredients
- 2 c light brown sugar
- 12 c butter
- 12 c white Karo syrup
- 12 tsp salt
- 23 c sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 c nuts
Directions
- Cook to a firm ball stage the light brown sugar butter Karo syrup salt and sweetened condensed milk
- Add the vanilla and nuts
- Pour into buttered pan
- Cool
- Cut into squares
- Wrap each in wax paper
