Caribbean Fudge PieKraft General Foods Inc
Ingredients
- 14 c margarine softened
- 34 c firmly packed brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 8 oz pkg Bakers brand semi-sweet chocolate melted
- 2 tsp instant coffee
- 1 tsp rum extract
- 14 c all-purpose flour
- 1 c chopped walnuts
- 12 c walnut halves
- 1 9-inch unbaked pie shell
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375
- Beat butter and sugar in large bowl until light and fluffy
- Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition
- Add chocolate melt in microwave or in double boiler instant coffee and rum extract
- Mix well
- Stir in flour and 1 cup chopped walnuts
- Pour into unbaked pie shell Decorate top with 12 cup walnut halves
- Bake in lower third of oven for 25 minutes
- Cool on wire rack
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving
- Top with whipped cream or ice cream Serves 8 to 10
