Carrot Cake With Cream Cheese Hard Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 12 c flour
- 2 14 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 12 tsp baking soda
- 34 tsp ground nutmeg
- 12 tsp salt
- 1 12 c sugar
- 1 c vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 3 c grated carrots 3 to 4 medium
- 1 c coarsely chopped walnuts
Directions
- Combine flour cinnamon baking soda nutmeg and salt set aside
- In a large bowl beat together sugar oil and eggs
- Stir in carrots and nuts
- Add dry ingredients
- Mix to combine thoroughly
- Lightly butter a ceramic or plastic fluted tube pan Spoon in batter
- Elevate pan on an inverted dish or plastic trivet
