Casserole Cheese Bread
Ingredients
- 1 c scalded milk
- 3 Tbsp sugar
- 1 Tbsp salt
- 1 Tbsp margarine
- 1 c warm water
- 2 pkg yeast
- 1 c grated Cheddar cheese
- 4 12 c sifted flour
Directions
- Scald milk add sugar salt and margarine
- Let cool Dissolve yeast in water
- Add milk and cheese and flour
- Stir about 2 minutes until well blended
- Cover let rise until more than double
- Stir down and beat vigorously for 12 minute
- Turn in greased 1 12 quart casserole or two 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pans Bake at 375 for 1 hour no second rising
