CathyS Crab Brunch Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 8 oz can or pkg crabmeat
  • 3 c toasted croutons
  • 1 12 c shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 c milk
  • 14 tsp onion salt
  • 14 tsp salt
  • 18 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp prepared mustard
  • 5 slices cooked bacon crumbled

Directions

  1. Drain crabmeat
  2. Spread layer of croutons in buttered 9-inch square casserole
  3. Sprinkle with crabmeat then cheese
  4. Layer 2 times ending with cheese layer
  5. Beat eggs add milk and seasonings
  6. Pour over casserole
  7. Bake in oven preheated to 325 for 45 minutes to 1 hour
  8. Check for doneness by inserting knife in center
  9. Will come out clean when finished
  10. Sprinkle bacon on top about 10 minutes before finished baking
