Cauliflower Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 whole cauliflower
  • 2 lb tomatoes
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 1 whole green pepper
  • 1 whole onion
  • 14 c cooking oil
  • 1 12 c water
  • 2 c rice
  • 1 lb stew meat
  • 12 c yogurt plain
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 12 tsp pepper
  • season to taste

Directions

  1. In a large pot put cooking oil after oil is hot put in sliced onion small pieces
  2. After onion has become golden brown put in tomatoes green pepper and salt cut into small pieces Mix together well
  3. Cover and simmer five minutes after onion and tomatoes are well mixed
  4. Put in meat stirring about 3 minutes put in water
  5. Cover
  6. Let rice stand in water 30 minutes
  7. In small pan fry pieces of cauliflower until all is done
  8. After meat is tender put layer of meat and cauliflower on top of rice in a large pan pouring meat juices also
  9. Place foil on top of pan
  10. Cook until rice is tender
  11. Serve with yogurt
