Champion Chicken Casserole

Ingredients
- 6 slices day old bread cubed
- 2 c cubed cooked chicken
- 12 c chopped onion
- 12 c chopped celery
- 12 c mayonnaise
- 12 tsp salt
- dash of pepper
- 2 slightly beaten eggs
- 1 12 c milk
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 12 c shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
Directions
- Place half of bread in 8 x 8-inch or rectangular baking dish Combine chicken vegetables mayonnaise and seasonings
- Spoon over bread
- Place remaining bread on top
- Combine eggs and milk and pour over all
- Cover and chill one hour or overnight in refrigerator
- Spoon undiluted soup on top
- Bake at 325 for 1 14 hours
- Sprinkle cheese on top for last few minutes of baking
