Cheese And Pasta In A Pot
Ingredients
- 2 lb ground beef
- 2 medium onions chopped
- 1 clove garlic crushed
- 1 14 oz spaghetti sauce
- 1 lb can stewed tomatoes
- 1 3 oz can sliced mushrooms
- 8 oz shell macaroni
- 1 12 pt sour cream
- 8 oz sliced Provolone cheese
- 8 oz sliced Mozzarella cheese
Directions
- Cook ground beef in small amount of oil in large deep skillet until brown
- Drain excess fat
- Add onions garlic spaghetti sauce stewed tomatoes and undrained mushrooms mix well
- Simmer 20 minutes
- Cook macaroni drain and rinse in cold water as per package directions
- Pour half of shells into deep casserole Cover with half of tomato-meat mixture and half of sour cream Top with Provolone
- Repeat layering and end with Mozzarella cheese
- Cover casserole
- Bake at 350 for 35 to 40 minutes Remove cover and bake until cheese melts and browns
