Cheese Bread
Ingredients
- 1 12 c flour
- 1 pkg dry yeast
- 1 12 to 2 c cheese your choice
- 1 14 c water
- 14 c sugar
- 1 12 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 2 to 2 12 c flour
Directions
- Combine 1 12 cups flour and yeast set aside
- Grate cheese into water with sugar and salt
- Heat just until warm
- Add to flour mixture with egg
- Stir well
- Add 2 to 2 12 cups flour knead to moderately stiff dough
- Shape into ball and let rise until double
- Divide in half and let rest 10 minutes
- Shape into two loaf pans let rise until double
- Bake at 350 for 40 to 45 minutes
- Cover with foil the last 20 minutes
- Cut while warm and spread with garlic seasoned butter and sprinkle with Italian seasoning
