Cheese Fondue Bake

Ingredients

  • 14 c softened reduced fat butter
  • 2 T dijon mustard
  • 10 slices French bread
  • 8 large beaten eggs
  • 1 c skim milk
  • 14 t salt
  • 18 t pepper
  • 13 c chicken broth
  • 2 c shredded Swiss cheese

Directions

  1. Mix butter and mustard then spread on one side of each slice of bread
  2. Cut bread into cubes
  3. Beat remaining ingredients with wire whisk until uniform
  4. Stir in bread cubes
  5. Pour into a well greased baking dish
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes
