Cheese Grits

Ingredients

  • 6 oz tube sharp cheese
  • 6 oz tube garlic cheese
  • 4 c water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 c grits
  • 14 c butter

Directions

  1. Slice or tear cheese into small pieces
  2. Bring salted water to boil slowly add grits
  3. Bring to second boil reduce heat and cook over medium heat for 4 to 5 minutes stirring
  4. Add cheese and butter to grits stirring until cheese melts
  5. Pour into ungreased casserole
  6. Bake uncovered at 350 for 30 minutes
