Cheese Quiche
Ingredients
- 12 10 to 11 oz pkg pie crust mix
- 4 large eggs
- 2 c half and half
- 12 tsp salt
- 18 tsp pepper
- 14 lb Jarlsberg or Swiss cheese shredded 1 c
Directions
- About 1 14 hours before serving prepare pie crust mix as label directs for 1 crust pie use to line 9-inch pie plate Preheat oven to 425
- In medium bowl with wire whisk or fork mix eggs half and half salt and pepper until well blended Sprinkle shredded cheese in pie crust
- Pour egg mixture over cheese
- Bake quiche 15 minutes turn oven control to 325 and bake for 35 minutes longer or until knife inserted in center of quiche comes out clean
- Makes 6 main dish servings
