Cheesecake Topped Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg fudge brownie mix
  • 1 pkg cream cheese softened 8 oz
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 can Eagle Brand
  • 1 egg
  • ready to spread chocolate frosting optional

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Prepare brownie mix as directed
  3. Spread in well-greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan
  4. In small mixing bowl beat cheese margarine and cornstarch until fluffy
  5. Gradually beat in canned milk egg and vanilla until smooth
  6. Pour evenly over brownie batter
  7. Bake 45 minutes or until top is lightly browned Cool
  8. Spread with frosting
  9. Cut in bars
  10. Store covered in refrigerator
  11. Makes 40 brownies
