Cheesy Sausage Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 1 lb mild or hot pork sausage
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 11 oz can cheddar cheese soup
  • 12 c water
  • 3 c biscuit mix such as Bisquick

Directions

  1. Crumble sausage into large skillet
  2. Add onion
  3. Cover and cook over medium heat until sausage is browned
  4. Drain well on paper towels
  5. Combine sausage mixture soup water and biscuit mix until dry ingredients are moistened
  6. Drop batter by heaping tablespoons about 2 inches apart on lightly greased baking sheet Bake at 425 for 15 minutes or until lightly browned Yield 4 dozen
