Cheesy Spicy Spinach
Ingredients
- 3 10 oz boxes frozen chopped spinach
- 12 c spinach liquid reserved from cooking spinach
- 1 Tbsp margarine
- 1 onion chopped
- 3 Tbsp flour
- 1 c skim milk
- 1 6 oz roll hot pepper cheese cubed
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 12 tsp garlic powder
Directions
- Cook spinach according to directions on package drain well reserving 12 cup spinach liquid
- Set aside
- In pan coated with nonstick cooking spray melt margarine and saute onion until tender
- Add flour stir
- Gradually add milk and spinach liquid to make sauce
- Cook until mixture thickens
- Add cheese and seasonings cook until cheese is melted
- Add spinach to pan combining well
- Yields 10 servings
