Cherokee Dinner
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef browned
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 34 c chopped onion
- 1 12 tsp salt
- 18 tsp each garlic powder thyme and oregano
- 12 bay leaf
- 1 1 lb can tomatoes
- 1 c cream of chicken soup
- 1 c Minute rice
- olives
- American cheese sliced
Directions
- Brown meat and onion in olive oil
- Stir in ingredients except olives and cheese
- Bring to a boil reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes stirring occasionally
- Spoon into baking dish top with cheese
- Broil until cheese is melted
- Garnish with sliced olives
- Serves 4 to 6
