Cherry Berry Slush
Ingredients
- 12 oz pkg frozen red raspberries or 1 12 c fresh raspberries
- 24 oz can frozen lemon-lime carbonated beverage chilled
- lime slices optional
- 12 16 oz pkg frozen unsweetened pitted dark sweet cherries or 2 c fresh pitted dark sweet cherries
- 1 6 oz can frozen apple juice concentrate thawed
Directions
- Thaw frozen
- fruit do not drain
- Place raspberries in a blender
- containerand
- blend
- until
- smooth
- Strain
- and discard seeds
- Transfer
- strainedberries
- to
- medium mixing bowl
- Place cherries in blender add apple juice concentrate Cover and blend
- until
- smooth
- Combine the berries in mixing bowl
- Transfer
- fruit
- mixture
- to freezing container
- Cover and freeze
- overnightor
- up to 2 months
- For each 10 ounce serving
- scrape
- spoon
- across frozen slush mixture and spoon about 34 cup into chilled 10 ounce tumbler
- Slowly pour in 4 ounces
- of the lemon-lime carbonated beverage
- Stir gently to mix
- Garnish with lime slice if desired
