Cherry Berry Slush

Ingredients

  • 12 oz pkg frozen red raspberries or 1 12 c fresh raspberries
  • 24 oz can frozen lemon-lime carbonated beverage chilled
  • lime slices optional
  • 12 16 oz pkg frozen unsweetened pitted dark sweet cherries or 2 c fresh pitted dark sweet cherries
  • 1 6 oz can frozen apple juice concentrate thawed

Directions

  1. Thaw frozen
  2. fruit do not drain
  3. Place raspberries in a blender
  4. containerand
  5. blend
  6. until
  7. smooth
  8. Strain
  9. and discard seeds
  10. Transfer
  11. strainedberries
  12. to
  13. medium mixing bowl
  14. Place cherries in blender add apple juice concentrate Cover and blend
  15. until
  16. smooth
  17. Combine the berries in mixing bowl
  18. Transfer
  19. fruit
  20. mixture
  21. to freezing container
  22. Cover and freeze
  23. overnightor
  24. up to 2 months
  25. For each 10 ounce serving
  26. scrape
  27. spoon
  28. across frozen slush mixture and spoon about 34 cup into chilled 10 ounce tumbler
  29. Slowly pour in 4 ounces
  30. of the lemon-lime carbonated beverage
  31. Stir gently to mix
  32. Garnish with lime slice if desired
