Cherry Cobbler Ice Cream
Ingredients
- Cobbler Topping see recipe
- 6 slightly beaten eggs
- 2 c sugar
- 1 qt light cream
- 1 4 serving pkg instant vanilla pudding
- 1 tsp vanilla
- dash of salt
- 1 21 oz cherry pie filling
- 2 c whole milk
Directions
- Prepare Cobbler Topping
- In large mixer bowl beat together eggs and sugar
- Add cream pudding mix vanilla and salt beat well
- Mix in pie filling
- Pour into 4 to 5-quart ice cream freezer
- Add milk
- Freeze according to manufacturers directions
- Remove dasher
- Add Cobbler Topping and stir until well mixed
- Ripen ice cream
- Makes 4 quarts
