Cherry Crunch

Ingredients

  • 1 1 lb 5 oz can cherry pie filling
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 pkg white cake mix
  • 12 c chopped nuts
  • 12 c 1 stick melted butter or margarine

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Spread pie filling in bottom of a 9-inch square pan
  3. Sprinkle with lemon juice
  4. Combine dry cake mix nuts and melted butter
  5. Mixture will be crumbly
  6. Sprinkle over pie filling
  7. Bake at 350 for 40 to 45 minutes until golden brown
  8. Serve with whipped cream or hot with coffee cream
  9. Makes 8 to 10 servings
