Cherry Pie Bars
Ingredients
- 1 c margarine
- 1 34 c sugar
- 1 12 tsp vanilla
- 4 eggs
- 3 c flour
- 1 12 tsp baking powder
- 14 tsp salt
- 1 can pie cherries
Directions
- Mix margarine sugar vanilla and eggs
- Add flour baking powder and salt
- Makes soft dough sticky
- Spread 34 plus of dough on greased sheet cake pan will seem thin dont have bare spots
- Spread on pie cherries get red everywhere
- Take a little at a time part of the 14 dough left add flour and pat out real thin between hands
- Place patchy over cherries
- Looks real messy cherries and red can show
- Bake at 350 for 30 to 40 minutes when it starts to brown and is firm just barely brown
