Cherry Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 3 sticks Imperial margarine
  • 1 box powdered sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 c Wondra flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 14 c walnut halves
  • 2 10 oz jars drained maraschino cherries

Directions

  1. Grease tube pan and dust with flour
  2. Combine margarine and sugar
  3. Add eggs one at a time
  4. Add flour vanilla and salt mix well
  5. Fold in walnuts and halved maraschino cherries
  6. Bake at 325 for 1 12 hours
  7. Remove from pan after 10 minutes
  8. Sprinkle with powdered sugar
